How We Differ

One of the most noticeable differences between Mullen's Driving School and other driving schools is where our focus is directed. We are not here solely for the purpose of enabling your child to pass their driver's test. Our motto, "for a lifetime of safe driving" is our philosophy. Driving is, on average, the most hazardous activity a person engages in regularly during their lifetime.

"We are dedicated to creating safe and responsible drivers that will carry with them the lessons we teach for the rest of their lives."

FYI

Mullen's Driving School's main office, located in Windham, is the location that keeps regular business hours if you would like to talk to someone in person. Cancellation decisions are made from this location and this is where you will find our cancellation and rescheduling policy.

Select locations offer high school pick up for afternoon classes. Stdudents need to arrive and leave at the scheduled times.

________________
Day One

Before calling, it is important to know that your child must have reached the age of fifteen by the first day of class. They will be expected to show up to class with an accurate social security number, original birth certificate or passport, two additional copies of birth certificate or passport, payment if needed, glasses or contacts if needed and pen & paper. The class is comprised of ten three hour classes.

Mullen's Driving Schools have many resources available to both students and parents long after your child has graduated.

________________
Parental Involvement

Parents are encouraged to be as involved in their teen's driving education as they wish to be. Ride alongs are allowed as well as class audits. The State of Maine requires at least one birth parent or legal guardian to attend the last hour of the final class with their teen.

We advise parents to spend at least 100 hours of drive time with their teen before applying for their road test.
